Camille Grammer is going to make guest appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The OG is coming back to the franchise after being featured as a friend during season 9. Grammer is at odds with most of the cast of the Bravo reality show after she brought up sensitive subjects about them on camera. As season 10 of the series continues production, Grammer skipped the cast trip and we now know the reason why.
For season 10 of RHOBH, the cast opted to take a trip to Italy. Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Denise Richards, and Lisa Rinna made their way to Europe a week before Thanksgiving. Although Grammer joined the show later in the season, she was not one of the housewives that went on the trip.
“I wasn’t invited,” she replied.
I wasn’t invited.
It’s safe to say that Grammer was not welcomed with open arms by the RHOBH ladies. She already had bad blood with the majority of the cast and she was initially not asked back by production. After rumors of season 10 of the reality show being a dud with no drama, Grammer announced her return to the show.
“It’s fair to say that the remaining ladies from last season are not looking forward to having to film with Camille. None of them have spoken to her since the reunion filmed. Things got really bad after that between the cast and Camille. Nobody is friends with her, so they feel she doesn’t really fit in naturally,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
“There was not a plan to bring back Camille Grammer to RHOBH until recently because things have been slow. All of the ladies are getting along, and they knew Camille would spice things up a bit, which the show ne right now. Plus, everyone is getting along,” the source added.
Many fans have questioned why Grammer returned to RHOBH if there’s so much hostility against her. Although the former full-time housewife hasn’t publicly revealed the reason she had for coming back, an insider might have an answer.
“Camille Grammer’s return to RHOBH shocked everyone, but Camille felt she had unfinished business to do on the show so she accepted the offer to come back,” the insider told Hollywood Life. “It really was a no-brainer for her. None of the cast members actually thought she would return. She doesn’t need the money, but Camille likes to stay out there.”
“I have been very vocal about my feelings and the way I’ve been treated and I thought it was just absolutely awful the way I was treated last year, with everything that was going on in my personal life, to be targeted and targeted as a villain, unrelentingly,” Grammer added.
