June 30, 2025 A burglary suspect was arrested in Prunedale, California, on Sunday after a homeowner confronted him and a subsequent police pursuit. California Highway Patrol assisted deputies as reports came in of a white male with long hair jumping fences in the area. Lipska was later spotted leaving the area in a stolen white van. After circling a nearby gas station, deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the van sped away, initiating a pursuit. The chase ended when the van got a flat tire and was driven into a bush. Lipska was arrested on multiple charges, including burglary and vehicle theft. 

In Waterbury, CT, a 47-year-old Waterbury man, Samuel Lopez, was killed in a double-stabbing incident that occurred on Washington Street on Saturday, June 28, 2025. In SACRAMENTO, CA a criminal driver is suspected of DUI after their Corvette crashed into a California Highway Patrol (CHP) vehicle at a high rate of speed on Friday night, injuring a CHP officer and the driver. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 near Sheldon Road in Sacramento County.  According to the CHP, an officer was providing security for a construction zone when their patrol vehicle was struck from behind by the Corvette. The impact sent the CHP officer to Kaiser South with minor injuries, while the driver of the Corvette sustained moderate to major injuries.
