Suspect In Fatal Ketron Island Stabbing Dies After Driving Off Ferry Dock
An alleged incident in Ketron Island, WA a man is suspected of fatally stabbing his partner on Ketron Island on Sunday evening. The individual was subsequently discovered deceased after purportedly driving his car off the ferry pier and into the water. Law enforcement officials were called to the scene around 9:09 p.m. after a 30-year-old male resident of the island allegedly attacked his 26-year-old girlfriend with a knife. Nearby residents attempted to provide first aid, but she was declared dead at the scene. Shortly thereafter, a significant crash was heard, and a vehicle was observed in the water. Authorities believe the man intentionally drove his vehicle off the dock. His car was later located underwater at a depth of 30 feet, with the man inside. A recovery operation is currently in progress. Unreported domestic violence is believed to have been a contributing factor in the residence.
