Man Hospitalized After Unprovoked Stabbing In Portland Offender Captured

An unprovoked knife attack in Southeast Portland's Montavilla neighborhood on Thursday morning left a man with life-threatening injuries, shaking local residents. The incident unfolded just before 9:30 a.m. on Southeast 91st Avenue. Home surveillance video captured the moment a man walking down the street was suddenly stabbed in the torso. Police rapidly responded, and approximately 25 minutes later, officers apprehended 24-year-old Michael Kash Kash in connection with the assault. A knife believed to be the weapon used in the attack was also recovered.
