The Luxury Collection lands in Doha

Properties that have the distinction of coming under the Luxury Collection’s umbrella rarely disappoint, such is their status and individuality in what can sometimes seem like a sea of indistinguishable upscale hospitality offerings.

So the latest addition to the Luxury Collection’s portfolio in the Middle East is sure to be a hit. Conveniently located just a 25-minute drive from the airport and 15 minutes away from Doha’s vibrant centre, the Al Messila, A Luxury Collection Resort Spa is billed as a “private palace” where guests can come to rest, relax and rejuvenate in an environment that promotes wellness and sustainability above all else.

Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader for The Luxury Collection, said, “Doha today is a world-class city with burgeoning arts and culinary scenes, rooted in tradition and a rich heritage.”

“We are delighted to welcome Al Messila Resort Spa to The Luxury Collection’s ensemble of hotels. True to our brand’s mission and informed by Qatar’s foresight and commitment to sustainability, Al Messila offers global explorers a palatial retreat in a lush haven, guiding our guests on transformative journeys that touch their spirits and enrich their lives,” Mr Ingham elaborated.

The Al Messila, A Luxury Collection Resort Spa, Doha is set in the city’s historic oasis district, and as such the opulent building with its striking architecture is surrounded by lush vegetation and manicured gardens.

The property itself is an exquisitely executed mix of Qatari elements, Arabic traditions and contemporary design, and these contrasts can be seen in everything from the material choices to the patterns and motifs used throughout the property.

Features and amenities at the Al Messila

The hotel boasts 152 rooms and suites, as well as 30 private villas, each of which has its own pool and garden area.
