If you’re looking for an excuse to visit one of the northern emirates, we’ve got the one for you.
Fairmont Ajman is launching a new spa as part of its ongoing effort to support health and wellness.
The spacious spa is spread across 970 sq m and includes nine treatment rooms, one couples’ suite, a nail and hair area, saunas, steam rooms and even a private hammam room.
It is a location deeply-rooted in the Arabian tradition of wellbeing medicine and treatments frequently use local ingredients and oils.
The spa menu features a variety of treatments with options from 20-minute treatments through to the signature Arabian Sensory Oasis, a treatment inspired by the UAE’s ancient Bedouin rituals.
This includes a foot massage and a full dry body brushing using Arabica coffee, cardamom and sumac (which help to combat cellulite). This is followed by a cleansing facial and mild exfoliation using activated charcoal, and full body massage with circulation body oil. The treatment finishes with a calming inhalation ritual of rose water to refresh and balance.
It’s elegant, it’s indulgent and it’s a thoroughly relaxing experience that is worth the trip to the UAE’s smallest emirate.
The Time Out team went to Ajman as part of an epic UAE road trip – all seven emirates in one day.
