22-year-old woman found dead in burning SUV in Lower Greenville had ‘such a sparkle,’ family says

Hudson was born in Dallas, where she spent part of her life before moving to California, where she attended high school. She graduated in the spring from the University of Arkansas, where she studied business, and moved back to Dallas.

Aragon said Hudson quickly found work after graduation, starting a job in June as a logistics sales account executive at Schneider, a transportation company.

In her free time, Hudson enjoyed outdoor activities, including swimming, hiking and hunting. But her biggest passion was fishing, her family says.

“She could out-fish most of us, and I taught her how to fish,” her father, Andrew Hudson, said Thursday.

The Mayfly Project, an organization that mentors foster children through fly fishing, said Sara Hudson was an advocate for the group and a future mentor.

“Sara had a huge passion for helping others and as a part of the greater fly fishing family, and [the Mayfly Project] family,” the group said on Facebook. “She will be greatly missed.”

Andrew Hudson said his daughter had lived in many cities and left a lasting impression on the people she met.

“She has touched a lot of people in Dallas, and Bakersfield, and Fayetteville,” he said. “She was a very busy young lady, and had all sorts of opportunities in front of her.”
